AdventNet Enhances its Active Directory Solution ADManager Plus to Increase Administrative Efficiency with Role Delegation to Helpdesk Technicians

Delegation of authority is a definite cost saver to any organization, which reduces administrator’s burden drastically. With the Help Desk Delegation feature, ManageEngine ADManager Plus enhances it further by providing an administrator the facility to group permissions into specific roles, using a web-based user interface. The highlight of the web-based console is its ease-of-use wherein any helpdesk technician with little knowledge of Active Directory can perform delegated roles. The administrator too will have complete information and control on the roles delegated, from the admin console.

ManageEngine ADManager Plus is an enterprise ready windows Active Directory Management and Reporting Solution, which facilitates easy delegation of management tasks to help desk technicians. Human resource staff can create users in Active Directory by a bulk import from a CSV file and templates. Selected users in the particular domain are delegated with roles for managing tasks like reset passwords, unlock accounts, and disable accounts. In addition, the administrators can move single or bulk Active Directory users from one OU to the other, and also assign roles to the technicians to generate Active Directory reports specific to an OU.
