today announced the release of a free edition version of its
industry leading SwisSQL Database Stored Procedure Migration
Tools. AdventNet is the first vendor to offer stored procedure
migration as part of its SwisSQL database migration suite.
With the free edition, customers can migrate up to 5000 lines
of stored procedures across databases such as Oracle, Microsoft
SQL Server, Sybase, and IBM DB2.
SwisSQL eliminates the need for manual database migration
that typically requires high investment of labor, cost and
time. AdventNet SwisSQL offers automated database migration
tools to migrate complex proprietary stored procedures, SQL
dialects, database schema, and enterprise data from one database
to another.
SwisSQL's free edition is targeted to migrate small projects
or a considerable part of their projects. Additionally, SwisSQL
offers Professional edition for customers migrating large
number of lines. Free Edition supports all the migration features
that are included in the Professional edition.

about 2 weeks to go through all of the 130 procedures, but
