customers worldwide.
NetFlow Analyzer is a web-based bandwidth monitoring tool that collects
Cisco NetFlow, Cisco NBAR and sFlow data exported from routing devices, to
analyze network traffic and report on bandwidth usage across the network.
With instant real-time bandwidth usage reports on top applications,
conversations, and hosts using bandwidth, NetFlow Analyzer gives valuable
insight into bandwidth usage in the enterprise without the complexity and
expense involved in deploying hardware and software probes.
The new release offers a host of benefits that include:
- Real time reports with updates to graph as the data is received
- Option to click and drag on the graph for easier drill down
- IN and OUT traffic (in bytes and packets) for each interface
maintained with 1 minute granularity for up to 1 year
- Performance improvement in IP group classification engine
- Integration with Google Maps for a better view of the network
- Ability to report on user defined DSCP mapping
- Alerting feature enhanced to send an alert when link goes down or when
no flows are received for 15 minutes
- Ability to group together applications into a single logical entity
- Easily export and share reports in PDF format
"We use NetFlow on a daily basis to provide visibility on traffic
patterns within our fire-walled perimeter. It is used both as a
fault-finding tool, and a management tool to provide forecasting and
monitoring facilities of our existing and future traffic requirements.
NetFlow Analyzer's standard interface reports and custom reports are very
helpful for us to determine network problems," said Garry Crothers, Network
Engineer at Queen's University of Belfast, Ireland.
"Any network management tool needs to provide information in real time
in order to be of value to the Network administrators. Knowledge of network
health in real time can empower the network admins to troubleshoot network
incidents instantly and identify threats even as they occur," said Raghu
Ramanujam, Product Manager for NetFlow Analyzer at AdventNet. "With NetFlow
Analyzer 6.0, we are happy to deliver just that - an in depth visibility
into your network in real time," he added.
