2.2 Release Notes

The following are the key feature enhancements and changes made for this release over the previous release:

Pre-defined Test Suites

Pre-defined test suites included for Printer and UPS MIBs.

Functionality Validation

Improvised configuration to perform validation on selective SNMP operations.
Added RFC references to all the built-in test cases.
Improvised configuration to perform validation of selective MIB objects.

Behavior Validation

Enables you to run specific test cases for specified number of times.
Ability to import/copy test cases between different projects.
Dynamic comparison of OID values using Macro.
Enhanced wait operation to include more conditions.
Ability to change the test case properties of multiple test cases.

HTML Reports

Enhanced reports to include the actual result obtained.
PDU dumps of the each test case is provided in the reports.

Scripting Support

Scripting support is added to this product. TCL scripting language support is been added to this product. Test cases will be generated if a MIB is provided as an input. Custom test cases may also be written for customer's with specific requirements.

Other Highlights

IPv6 Support.
Option to open the MIB in an editor from the failed test report.
Table OID instances can now be specified for Performance and Stress Validations.
Enhanced Performance Validation to include multivarbind requests.
