Remote monitoring and control of agent/network behavior is achieved through RMI. RMI's unique capabilities to load and execute user-defined tasks at runtime, helps in test case automation of manager applications.

The RMI interface allows you to programmatically do all the things that can be done using TL1 Jython scripts to configure behavior. Refer the following links to learn about the different scenarios that can be setup via RMI.
